ZipAir Tokyo Holds Special Online Aircraft Viewing Event
ZipAir, the new low cost, long haul subsidiary under Japan Airlines, has found a novel way to make use of its stationary aircraft during the ongoing COVID-19- related decline in air travel. Together with Greenport Agency, the passenger handling company at Tokyo Narita Airport, the airline plans to hold an online event called “ZipAir Undercover Online Tour”. The event is to take place on February 6. During the online tour, participants will be able to view the exterior and interior of the airplane, guided by cabin crew, and will be able to ask questions directly to the cabin crew.
Customers may choose from three options: Plan A, which consists of just the online tour and costs 1320 JPY, Plan B for 4980 JPY, which gives participants the opportunity to also buy the airline’s original goods normally sold as part of their inflight sales program, and a limited number of tickets for Plan C, which costs 5980 JPY and additionally includes original ZipAir chocolate. All of the above prices are inclusive of sales tax, but exclude the delivery fee for any goods purchased. Tickets go on sale at 5 p.m. on January 26th until February 1st.
