Vistara Starts Tokyo-Delhi Flight Operations
Vistara, a joint-venture airline operated by Tata Group and Singapore Airlines, inaugurated its first non-stop flight to Japan between Tokyo (Haneda) and Delhi on July 8. The airline’s flight service was originally scheduled to start in June 2021 but was moved up to July for operational reasons. Using the air bubble agreement between India and Japan, Vistara will fly once a week between the two cities using a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
Vistara said it accepts all eligible customers meeting visa/entry requirements in both countries, as specified by the respective government bodies. The airline strongly encourages its customers to fully understand the applicable guidelines before making their bookings.
