Virgin Australia Expands Reach in Japan with Group Claim

Virgin Australia (VA), one of Australia’s largest airlines, released INFINI’s Group Claim product on May 22 to enhance the effectiveness of its marketing reach into the group travel sector of the Japanese travel market.   

Group Claim is a functionality that enables travel agents to claim group PNRs that are created in an airline’s host system. The product reduces an airline’s workload by enabling it to conveniently pass ownership of group PNRs to partner travel agents, so that these agents can modify PNRs or handle ticketing by themselves. This saves you time, while ensuring the airline retains control over its seat inventory through block control.
